In order to optimize the quality of your walking tour, we recommend forming groups of 10 to 15 people per guide.

All visits must be reserved for a minimum of two hours.

Old Montréal
Old Montreal
Explore the birthplace of our metropolis. In an interesting and straightforward way, our guides will lead you through a maze of streets and historic buildings. This is a trip back in time which can be adapted to all ages.

From Pointe-à-Callière to Jacques-Cartier Square, stops will include: Place Royale, Place d'Armes, the Sulpicians' Seminary, the Bank of Montréal, Notre-Dame Basilica ($), City Hall, Château Ramezay, the Notre-Dame-de-Bon-Secours Chapel and Bonsecours Market.


During the summer season, we offer daily guaranteed departures of our Old Montréal Walking Tour, made for independent travellers.


Underground City
Eaton CenterEvery winter, Montréal is transformed into a winter wonderland. For this reason, since the 1960s, the city has developed an impressive network of underground passageways linking major office buildings to the nearest métro stations. Discover the system, by foot or on the subway, with our guide.

This visit can include the following sites: McGill métro station and its shopping malls, Place Ville-Marie, Central Station and Place Bonaventure, Square Victoria métro station, the Stock Exchange Tower, the World Trade Center, the Convention Center, the Complexe Guy-Favreau, Place des Arts and the Montréal Museum of Contemporary Art.                                                       
     


Downtown, Above & Underneath
Combine the downtown area and the Underground Pedestrian Network of Montréal (known by Montrealers as the Underground City). This unique walking tour of downtown Montréal will give you the chance to discover architecture of the metropolis, as well as the passageways of the underground city, good ingredients for a unique city!

During the visit, you will likely  discover the following attractions: Promenades de la Cathédrale, Place Montréal Trust, Complexe Les Ailes, Dorchester Square, Place du Canada, Place Ville-Marie, Central Station, McGill University, Ste-Catherine Street, Place des Arts, Palais des Congrès of Montréal, World Trade Center, Quartier International and the Mary Queen of the World Cathedral.

A metro ride can be included for $3.50 per ticket.

Historical characters
Some of our guides are especially trained for walking tours, educational visits, playing historical or fictional characters. Our historical characters can also participate in Historical Treasure Hunts, special events, conventions, etc. We are also able to develop new costumes and material for historical characters upon request.

International districtDid you know that more than sixty international organisations have established their headquarters in Montréal? Discover the Montréal International District. From the new Place Jean-Paul-Riopelle to the restored Victoria Square, you will enjoy this unique area, that received many awards for original designs and elegant and innovative urban architecture.

Follow your guide throughout historical and modern buildings such as the CDP Capital Building and the Montréal World Trade Center, and discover the new RÉSO (Underground Pedestrian Network) passageways.
 


Plateau Mont-Royal
Close to the downtown area, the Plateau Mont-Royal is the ideal place to discover a residential area of Montréal but also one of the trendiest districts in North America with its boutiques, cafés, restaurants where fashion, animation and style are "au rendez-vous"!

Discover the hidden side of the metropolis by discovering stories of its alleys and the different urban legends. With this tour: hidden gardens, warehouses, clothing lines, murals and graffiti.
 


Golden Square Mile
At the turn of the 20th Century, about 70% of Canada's wealth was concentrated in Montréal in an area on the slopes of the Mount Royal which covered roughly a square mile.

With your guide, explore the streets and homes which still remain from this period. They are no longer private residences and many can not be entered but even their exteriors bear witness to the elegance and wealth of times past.


Chinatown
Did you know that to pass under the "Arches of the Sun" is a pledge of happiness and prosperity?

Follow your guide to learn a little more on the history of Chinese immigration in Montréal and their integration in our metropolis.

A walking tour in this community is the best way of discovering memories of the past and appreciating the unique atmosphere of this part of the city.
 


Little Italy
Follow your guide for a unique stroll in the country of good pasta, fine wine and the dolce vita! From Dante Street to the St. Lawrence Boulevard, you will fall in love with the trattorias, the shops and the cafés where the unique Italian atmosphere is honoured. The Jean-Talon Market is also on our route!  We offer you a voyage to Italy, without even leaving Montréal!  Bella Italia. alla Montréal!
